Workshop Info:

Starting in pregnancy, many parents have the experience of feeling lost or having a loss of power in their own and their child’s medical experience. This can be disheartening, frustrating, and even scary.

Join us for a discussion on tapping in to your intuition as a new parent in the medical setting to Confidently advocate for your child and your family.

After this workshop you will walk away with:

- tools to tune into your own intuition as a parent

- how to advocate in an uncomfortable scenario

- knowledge of childhood development

- calm and confidence for your child’s next medical visit

About Child Core Family Support:

“Children are the core of families. Child Core was created for caregivers to educate, empower, and encourage their children to experience medical settings with confidence, not anxiety.

Our mission is to ensure children are supported and the family is strengthened during life’s changes.”

About our host, Adrienne Smith, MS:

Adrienne is professionally certified as Child Life Specialist, with a Master’s Degree in Child Development, with an emphasis on the medicalized child.

She has supported families within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, Emergency Room, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, as well as within the home setting for palliative and hospice pediatric families, and now provides support through coaching an education for families in all walks of life.
